We sell nearly everything that our service members, police officers, and Fire/EMS use to do the job effectively and at a great price.
What inspired you to get into the business you are in today?
We love to help others. We would see companies marketing goods and equipment to service members, law enforcement officers, and Fire/EMS personnel at inflated prices. If that person can't afford it then how can it help them, save them, or be used to save you or your family? We decided we would get in the market to see if we couldn't do it better and at a much better price. We work hard to keep our overhead low (Fedex helps in that) so that we can make the equipment they need affordable.
How do you define success for yourself and for your business?
In a word I would say "Demand." We are meeting our mission as long as agencies and people are coming to us for what they need at a price they can afford. We outfit officers at a price that doesn't require man hours be cut so a piece of equipment can be fielded. Or so that officer has to work overtime to afford it while spending additional hours away from his or her family. We work with individuals and agencies to get them what they need at a price they can handle.
How would you use the FedEx SMB Grant money to make a significant impact on your business and/or on others?
The Fedex Grant would first help us to improve our website started on a strict budget enhancing the buyers experience and comfort. We would also invest in two highly anticipated trade shows within the great State of Ohio. It would pay for training to enhance our capabilities of providing "know how" to use the equipment we sell most effectively. We could also sponsor a fundraiser for Operation Restored Warrior which is a project close to our hearts.
