Elevator Pitch:

Up to 50% of babies get the wrong dose of medicine when they're sick. Pacidose is the solution. Medication. Through a pacifier. Fuss free.

Tell us about your business, what inspired you to get into it, what you sell/service you offer, what makes your business stand out and how it impacts you, your community or the environment.

I’m Dr. Agnes Scoville, MD. When my daughter was born, I discovered how ineffective current OTC baby products are, thus AGGIE MD: smarter tools for baby health. Pacidose is for babies who reject medicine: a syringe plugs into the back of a pacifier, the medicine bypasses the tastebuds, and the baby gets the whole dose. AGGIE MD products are uniquely affordable, common sense solutions inspired by my medical knowledge and mom experience. They give parents peace of mind and a healthy baby.

How would you use the FedEx Small Business Grant money to make a significant impact on your business?

The FedEx Grant would help scale us to the next level. Pacidose is now in 300 small retailers across the US and in 6 other countries. We have just now gotten Pacidose on the shelves at Buy Buy Baby, Nordstrom, Whole Foods and soon we will be in Babies R Us. But, to maintain inventory for these big box retailers, we will need cash for inventory and aggressive marketing to make sure moms know where to buy it. We are literally on the brink of retail success, we just need a little extra push.
