We sell and use raw honey from our hives located in the Caribbean to create great organic products i.e shampoo, conditioners and body care
I am an engineer as well as a bee farmer. Owner of a small but robustly growing company, which I founded in January of 2008 to sell Ivyees Raw Honey, a premium brand I created, to fulfill the growing demand I saw for this unique niche product. In addition to the raw honey, I’ve also developed natural hair care derived from honey and part of a natural set. No synthetic chemicals are used in my products and the same or better results are achieved on the hair, skin and better for our environment.
The grant money would be used to purchase 5000 units of hair care products. Since automating the product line I have not been able to make the minimum purchase. I produce a shampoo, humectant spray and 3 conditioners all of which have been automated. The minimum I can purchase is 1000 of each unit. The average cost per unit is $4.75 hence, I need approximately $25,000 to make the minimum purchase. I have a solid customer base who are waiting on delivery of my products.
