Quailie's Kids provide creative products to people that you would not necessarily find in stores. A custom flair for a reasonable price!
What inspired you to get into the business you are in today?
I started Quailie's Kids as a creative outlet when I was a SAHM. I was home with my 6 month and 2 year old children and wanted a way to stay connected to the outside world. It started as a hobby, but is now a booming business. I designs the graphics, prints, cuts and applies them to items all by hand in her home. I incorporate personal touches to art and vintage designs. Rachel says, “Kids love clothing that reflects their personalities and I work with clients to create items that do so.”
How do you define success for yourself and for your business?
Repeat customers. When people come back for more items, you know you are making something that people love.
How would you use the FedEx SMB Grant money to make a significant impact on your business and/or on others?
I would like to purchase equipment to make creating my items a bit easier for me. I would like to purchase a digital cutter and a heat press. Maybe even look into other printing options.
